Service Design Project

Overview

I designed an employee-facing portal for the frontline staff of NORC Innovation Centre, Canada's first centre dedicated to advancing a model of integrated health and social care in naturally-occurring retirement communities (NORCs).

The Process

The Solution

A functional platform built de novo on PowerApps with significant features, including but not limited to a Resource Hub, Interactions Tracker, Resident Profiles, and Reflections Input.

Key Learnings

  • Context of use matters for adoption and integration.

  • Service Design is a bridge between employees and leadership.

  • Users involvement is key for a high adoption rate.
